Below is a list of common questions that our listeners have for us and we try our best to give them a satisfying response. While we continually try and keep this list up to date, please use the contact us page if there is something else you want to ask us or bring to our attention.
Q-1. What are the options to listen to Chimes Radio?
A-1. Chimes Radio is 100% Online Radio which can be streamed through the following channels:
a. Chimes Radio native apps on Apple and Android app stores
b. Chimes Radio website https://chimesradio.com
c. Alexa and Google Home smart speakers
d. Global radio directories like myTuner, Live Online Radio etc.
Q-2. How much bandwidth is consumed per hour if I listen to Chimes Radio?
A-2. Since it is online radio station only, content is streamed over internet to deliver to end listener. You will be consuming between 50-60 MB per hour which is equivalent to watching 15 minutes of online videos on Youtube or other streaming platforms at default picture quality.
Q-3. My live radio stream on the iOS/Android app keeps turning off after a while. How can I fix it?
A-3. Smartphones often try to conserve battery power. In case of no interaction with the phone after a while, the ‘Battery Saver’ mode kicks in on your smartphone and turns off the apps running in the background. This is controlled by your phone settings. To keep listening to uninterrupted broadcast, you can either turn off auto lock on your phone in the settings page (please use your own judgement before doing this) or use the ‘Listen Live’ page by clicking on red music sign in the top right hand corner of the app header.
Q-4. How do I submit my entry for any ongoing contest on Chimes Radio?
A-4. Do submit your contest entries, please go to the “Shoutout” section in the Chimes Radio mobile apps and there you will find all the options to send us your picture, audio or video files directly from your mobile phones.
Q-5. What are the benefits of sharing your email ID with Chimes Radio?
A-5. We are trying to build a community of like-minded parents who are keen to see their kids flourish as they grow up. So we run tons of competitions throughout the year and also seek participation from our young listeners to send us their content to be aired on radio on specific occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day, Teacher’s Day etc. Sharing your email details will help us to ensure we keep you posted whenever a new contest is started by our very creative team in the studios.
Q-6. I am a content creator and would like to feature my content on the Chimes Radio app. How can I do that?
A-6. Please use the “Contact Us” page on our apps or “Submit Your Content” page on our website to share in details of your works along with some samples or links to the content. We will review the same and get back to you asap. Please ensure you have read all the Terms and Conditions in our policies page before sending us your content.

Is there anything like daily news that kids can listen to in this site
Hi, We currently don’t have a podcast on daily news for kids though we are currently building something on similar lines. But we do have tons of other informaitonal content that you and your child can enjoy!
